I'm not going to Hong Kong. There were ten applicants, eight spots and I'm second on the waiting list. It means I'm DEAD LAST. The WORST applicant they had. And my best friend is the second worst, as she is first on the waiting list. FUCK. I am sad.

At least you tried, you know? Is it through the same people that did the Italy program? Maybe they put you on the end because you went to Italy? Anyway, I think the joke it: What do you call the student that graduates last in his class at medical school? A doctor. You're still kick-ass.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm going to American Samoa next July, to teach for a year, and you should totally apply and come too. It's a program called World Teach and it's crazy exciting.
